Week of March 27

My film group consist of Karina Rodriquez, Giovanni Lopez, Redani Diaz, Denise Cid and Lenia Rodriquez. This week we finished developing the story line. We had an idea but we needed to discuss what way we want to go with the plot. We are doing a narrative film, in which we see the reality of the couple. We discussed what type of scenes we wanted and who will be the actors. we also wrote the ideas we went for different scenes and we found a way to tie in different ideas from everyone in our group. We began working on the script on Thursday and we will continue today.

What Music Means to Me

Music is a gift. It is a universal emotional language that allows us to feel. It brings us closer to ourselves and to how we empathize and understand others. Not only foe me, but in general, it often communicates what cannot be put into words. Music is the way to express yourself , and have others understand you through it. It keeps company when alone, it give comfort when in need of it, it give feeling when numbness takes over. It is an escape for plenty of people. Music is something people identify themselves with. It is a drug. Music is how one interacts with one another and how people who love music or the same type of music become close friends. It brings people together. It is art, the way hitting a key on the piano, or drumming  drum, or playing a string can create something so beautiful. Music plays a big role in plenty of lives. For some it is the most important thing in their life. Music is life, inspiration, entertainment among other things. As human beings we tend to differ in a lot of things, yet when we find someone who is into the same music or is feeling the same thing we feel, we communicate. Music is used as a form of communication and it is a beautiful thing.

Problems and Sturggles

Looks and the way people are can be so deceiving therefore i always wonder what type of struggles people go through. I do not want to talk for anybody but a lot of high school student not just bell students go through similar struggles whether they may be having good grades, being a perfect daughter/son, or simply having some type of relationship with their parents. But as teens, i believe that our main struggle is trying to be who we are and who we want to be in this cruel, judgmental society. I believe that most of us are trying to figure out who we are in high school but it is so hard when we have people around us who cannot accept who we are. There is a such a high percentage of bullying in schools because people are who they are. We grow up with magazines, tv, media, and society telling us what the definition of perfect is, or telling us how to dress to be "cool." It is hard to really be who you are and who you want to be in a world where we live in. Therefore, when i see people who are eccentric and dress differently and act how they want to act and be who they want to be, i admire that a lot. Most teens always try to be someone they are not and do things they do not want to do simple because it is what people do now a days or because they feel pressured to do it. Most teens are finding themselves while in high school, but with a society like ours, it is a massively difficult to do that.

The Most Interesting Person I Know

I recently met one of the most rarest person ever. This person is eccentric. I met them two months ago and i met them through a mutual friend. When we first met, i instantly found this person interesting because they shook my hand. And not a loose handshake, a tight and firm one. That to me says a lot, i like handshakes, tight and firm. Therefore, naturally this person instantly became interesting. But we did not start talking until January. We became really close, you can say, and as i got to know them more and more i just found this individual so interesting. We talk plenty therefore they has told me stories and experiences that have made this person who he is today and their experiences are something i have never heard before. Their mindset is very similar to mine, when we talk about things that can cause arguments but we tend to agree. But at the same time, we have a very different mindset. We view thing the same way but in our own way. Our conversations are very weird and funny. There is not a moment where it is just silence and if there is it is a comfortable silence. We can talk for hours and hours on end.   I still do not know a lot about this individual and i am not calming i know them the best but i am saying that he is very weird, good weird, and weird is always interesting.
